Papilloma on the body: causes and treatment

Human papilloma is a symptom of HPV (Human Papilloma Virus). This disease is contagious in nature. When pathogens enter the body, they not only affect the skin, but also the mucous membranes. Papillomas are often called warts. The shape and size of the tumor are different. Most of them appear in the form of nodules. The smallest size of this tumor is 1 mm, and the largest can exceed 2 cm.

Papilloma and its types

Causes of papilloma appearing on the human body

Papilloma of the legs is very dangerous. If injured, bleeding can occur, which can cause inflammation. In the early stages of development, the wart is beige, and it turns brown over time. In nature, there are 80 types of papilloma. If the immune system is strong, the human body will be able to resist HPV infection. Otherwise, surgery will be required.

The warts are:

  1. Simple. They resemble cones in appearance, and they are dense in structure. The average diameter of simple warts is 1 mm. The tumor is characterized by a keratinized surface. Usually, they crawl from the neck, stomach, back, arms, legs, and armpits.
  2. The soles of the feet. These warts have edges. They are located on the inner surface of the foot. Several pieces of this type of construction appear at once.
  3. Ping. The shape of the tumor is different. There are polygonal and flat papillomas. The latter is beige and appears anywhere on the body.
  4. Filamentous (con process). These are small warts. They are more common in people over 40. Tumors appeared in the groin and armpits. In the elderly, they can form before our eyes.

Statistics show that nine out of ten people are carriers of HPV. If you find a papilloma, you need to be checked, which will help determine the type of virus. Warts need proper treatment. You cannot delete them yourself, otherwise there will be a risk of the infection process.

In folk medicine, there are many ways to get rid of tumors. They are used without allergies and only with the permission of a doctor. Basically, papillomas are removed for aesthetic purposes. However, some of its types may become malignant tumors (become malignant tumors), in which case urgent removal is required.

How does the infection happen?

HPV is sexually transmitted. The mucous membrane of the reproductive organs is the conduit for infection. For example, when some people use shared towels, they get infected through family contact. When the human papillomavirus enters the body, warts appear. In this case, the basal layer of the epithelium is affected. The cells that the virus enters can be benign or malignant.

Papilloma needs treatment, regardless of its type and shape. Infections can survive in the body for several years and manifest when the immune system is weakened. During pregnancy, warts often form when the body becomes weak. Prolonged smoking, drinking, and frequent stress can weaken immunity. If a person changes their sexual partners or leads an unhealthy lifestyle, the risk of contracting the virus is higher.

Human papillomavirus infection does not always cause cancer: types 6, 11, 42, and 44 are low carcinogenic. Malignant warts appear flat. The degeneration of benign cells lasts for 15 years. If the patient smokes, drinks alcohol and feels stressed, the pathological process will accelerate. To avoid cancer, papilloma should be monitored. Do not damage them. If the tumor reaches an impressive size, it must be removed.

Wart treatment

There is no cure for HPV. The virus lives in the body for life. In order to subside, the doctor prescribed drugs to increase immunity. HPV treatment should be comprehensive. If you need to remove deposits, you need to contact an expert. It is strictly forbidden to pull out warts with thin wires or use other suspicious methods.

Laser treatment

Lasers are often used to remove warts. The device will not cause injury and prevent bleeding. After laser treatment, there is no scar on the skin. The patient recovered within a month. The meeting consists of several stages. First perform anesthesia. Then, the doctor takes a piece of tissue for histological examination. The treatment time is 2 minutes. With the help of innovative equipment, fluid can be removed from pathological tissues, thereby eliminating warts.

If there are multiple papillomas, laser therapy will last for 20 minutes. After the operation is completed, the doctor will treat the skin with antibacterial agents. If the tumor does not exceed 2 cm, the patient will recover for 10 days. The recovery period depends on the immune system. To avoid complications, you must follow your doctor's instructions.

Use bright green or potassium permanganate to treat papilloma. After laser treatment, it is forbidden to use rough towels and wipe the skin with towels. It is impossible to remove the formed crust, otherwise exudation will occur. Within 15 days, you need to deny access to the bathhouse and swimming pool. It is not recommended to swim in the sea. Protect the skin from direct sunlight.

Frozen

This method involves freezing the affected tissue and removing it further. During the operation, doctors use equipment that blows cold air. Remove the papilloma manually or by hardware. The device compresses the tumor by supplying cold air. The duration of this process depends on the condition of the skin. If there is a wart, cryoablation takes 2 minutes.

To manually remove the papilloma, the doctor needs to apply a cotton swab immersed in liquid nitrogen to the ground. During this process, the characteristics of the skin will change-it becomes whiter, denser and less sensitive. Freeze damage will cause a slight burning sensation. After the wound has healed, bubbles with liquid will form in its place. One day later, sc sores appeared, and the skin completely recovered after six weeks.

This process can be used to remove intimate warts in men and women. Like other drugs, it can relieve tumors, but it is not a drug that helps eliminate HPV.

Electrocoagulation

The doctor uses high-frequency electric current to remove warts. In the absence of contraindications, the procedure can produce good results and reduce side effects.

Radiosurgery treatment

Compared with standard operation, this method has many advantages. A person quickly gets rid of the papilloma and the risk of recurrence is reduced.

If the wart is injured and bleeds, surgery is required. The patient should see a doctor immediately. In order to heal the skin and subside the disease, the doctor prescribed medicine. The damaged area should be treated with antiseptic.

Home Care

If you find a papilloma, you need to use alcohol and add 5 drops of sour apple juice, celandine and dandelion. Potato juice is used to treat warts. It was applied to the affected surface and kept overnight. Papilloma can be treated with Carrancho juice. Treatment with folk methods at home also involves strengthening the immune system.

Take medicine

When the virus enters the body, it produces interferon. This component can resist HPV virus. If the immune system is weakened, the virus will actively multiply, but the body cannot resist. In order for the disease to subside, you need to apply complex treatments. The tablet has antiviral effect and strengthens the immune system. If the patient uses drugs, he may not have to resort to the previously listed procedures. People who refuse to take medicine are more likely to relapse.

Use laundry soap to treat papilloma

Laundry soap has a slight effect on pathological tissues and can eliminate itching and burns. If you use the treatment of papilloma, it will prevent the inflammatory process and dry the pathological tissue. Laundry soap has antibacterial properties. However, if there are signs of inflammation, you should see a doctor.

If the growth is dry and natural, a soap solution can be used. If the wart changes shape or darkens, don't use it. Soap can reduce your papilloma without damaging your skin. To remove the tumor, you need to wet a piece in water and treat the affected area. It is recommended to use small residues without sharp edges. It is important not to harm the skin, otherwise there is a risk of infection. To treat warts, soap-based mixtures are prepared. First, grind onions, then grind soap. The ingredients are mixed in equal proportions. Put the mixture in the refrigerator and use it the next day. The course of treatment is 10 days.

Castor oil application

Castor oil contains ricinoleic acid, which can inhibit viruses. If this product is used correctly, the tumor will begin to dry out and eventually disappear. There will be pink spots on the papilloma and disappear after two months. Moisten the cotton pad with castor oil and wipe the skin twice. In order to make the tumor disappear, the product needs to be used every day for one month. There is another method: put a few drops of oil on the wart and put adhesive plaster on the top to avoid squeezing the papilloma. This procedure is carried out twice a month for one month. This product rarely causes allergies. If you are allergic to castor oil, you should stop using it.

Important information

If a woman has a malignant tumor, she is more likely to have cervical and vulvar cancer. Oncologists are involved in the treatment of HPV. First, the doctor examines the warts and then prescribes them. As a result of the research, the type of virus was determined. Experts assess the risks of malignant processes. If necessary, other inspections are also provided. Based on the results, the doctor chooses a method of treating papillomavirus.

Papillomas in close proximity can cause more discomfort and are more difficult to eliminate. These increases are signs of HPV or indicate sexually transmitted diseases.
